Keswick Hall Trust (No. 311246) was formed in 1981 when Keswick Hall College of Education became the School of Education of the University of East Anglia.

Why we exist

  1. To advance higher and further education by promoting religious education specifically in the areas covered by the dioceses of Ely, Norwich and St Edmundsbury & Ipswich.
  2. To assist financially students and charitable institutions engaged in the teaching of religious education.
  3. To encourage research into and the development of religious education.

To meet these goals the trust has provided:

  • Grants for in-service and initial training of teachers of religious education;
  • Resources for use by teachers of religious education; and research and development in religious education.
